I forgot!

I forgot to post a blog about the National Flag Day. :))
Anyway, National Flag Day is held every May 28.
Wherein the National Flag is to be displayed...
And taken down when June 12 comes.
But why?
Well, here's how it goes.

History:
After sailing back to the Philippines,
Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo landed on the city of Alapan, Cavite,
Bringing along with him the Official Philippine Flag.
While on the way to his mansion,
He and his crew were attacked by Spaniards.
This is when the Philippine Flag was first used in a successful battle.
March 28, 1898.
And when Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo got back to his mansion,
June 12, 1898.
He declared independence.
